Why we recommend it
Hidden dragon magic, forbidden bonds, and a morally grey commander give this romantasy opener serious bite. Readers who crave brooding military leads and dangerous attraction set against a war-torn realm will be hooked. The tone is dark and atmospheric, with a hero whose loyalties make him equal parts threat and temptation. A great fit for fans of dragon-bonded fantasy romance with edge.
