Why we recommend it

The third Plated Prisoner novel: the gold cage is still the condition but what it contains has changed. Kennedy writes the Midas mythology with growing complexity — Auren's power is emerging, the gleam is both prison and potential, and the world outside the palace is considerably more dangerous than the one inside it.
