Why we recommend it
Payback is the engine of this dark revenge romance, where every glance is a reckoning and desire is the most dangerous weapon of all. The series opener trades softness for sharpened edges, pairing a ruthless agenda with chemistry that refuses to be contained. For readers who love vengeance that blurs into obsession and enemies who can't decide whether to destroy each other or surrender, this one bites.
