Why we recommend it

The first in Hutchins' Fae Chronicles — a world where destiny is imposed, Fae are genuinely threatening, and the heroine has been marked without her knowledge. The fighting isn't metaphorical: she resists actively, the fae world resists back, and the attraction to the worst possible person is the engine.
