In the Conquered Mates world, a battle-hardened alien soldier takes a human prisoner and finds his iron control slipping into obsession. The tone is dark and dominant, all captivity, power imbalance, and the dangerous heat of a captor who decides his prisoner is his to keep. Sci-fi romance readers who crave brutal alphas and reluctant, scorching surrender will devour it.
