Why we recommend it

Salt-laced courts and starlit magic frame the start of this tidebound romantasy. Readers who love oceanic worldbuilding, scheming royals, and a forbidden love that rises like the tide will be swept in. Expect a brooding, morally grey love interest, a heroine with hidden steel, and slow-burning tension threaded through danger. Lush and atmospheric, made for fans of dark fantasy romance with a watery, mythic edge.
