Why we recommend it
Small-town secrets and simmering hostility drive this enemies-to-lovers opener set against a backdrop of grease, grit, and old grudges. Readers who like their romance with a slow burn and a rugged hero will find plenty to enjoy as antagonism melts into something deeper. The mood is gritty yet grounded, the emotion earned. A great pick for fans of edgy contemporary romance with heart and history.
