Why we recommend it
A viper in the dark paranormal sense — lethal, cold-blooded, specific in his strikes and his targets. Lucas writes the dark paranormal with the viper as the hero's nature: he is what the name says, the heroine is his specific quarry, and the venom in the encounter is as much romantic as literal.
