Why we recommend it
Half of something, belonging entirely to neither world. Wendel writes the dark paranormal with the halfling identity as the operative condition — being between two natures means being claimed by neither and desired by one specifically. The romance that forms for a halfling is the kind that decides the in-between is actually where the interesting things happen.
