Why we recommend it
A dragon-shifter mountain romance with a playful warning right in the title and plenty of fated-mate friction underneath. The vibe is steamy and a touch lighter than the genre's darkest corners, pairing a brooding dragon with a heroine who has every reason to resist. Expect banter, possessive heat, and the inevitable pull of a bond neither can deny. Ideal for readers who like their shifter romance fiery, fun, and irresistible.
At a glance
Never Fall for a Dragon is a sci-fi romance by Lola Glass. It rates 3/5 for spice and 2/5 for darkness, on the lighter side for sci-fi romance: almost none of the 403 sci-fi romance books we rate are lighter on either scale. Tropes: grumpy / sunshine, forced proximity and enemies to lovers. Grumpy / sunshine is one of the less common tropes in our catalogue. Of the 5 Lola Glass books we rate, it is the least dark.
