Why we recommend it

The saint in a stalker romance is ironic — the title names the hero in a genre where sainthood is definitionally absent. Simmons writes the dark romance with the religious vocabulary deployed against a very non-religious dynamic: the saint has observed her in ways the saints he's named after wouldn't sanction.
