An omegaverse captive romance with the feral as the hero's quality — the why-choose element suggests multiple alphas and the shifter world is where the captive romance gets biological. Ever writes the dark romance with instinct as the operative force: feral alphas take what they scent as theirs, and the omega is not given a choice in the matter.
