This savage mafia opener wears its enemies-to-lovers heart proudly. A brutal, possessive hero marks his claim on a woman who refuses to break, and the friction between them sparks dangerous heat. The mood is shadowy and volatile, built on rivalry, obsession and the thrill of forbidden surrender. For dark-romance readers who want their alphas merciless and their tension razor-sharp, it's a satisfying first ruthless tie.
