The second Earthly Mates entry leans hard into dark sci-fi captivity, where being an alien's pet means surrendering to a possessive, otherworldly master. The vibe is intense and claustrophobic, perfect for readers who crave power imbalance, primal claiming, and a slow shift from ownership to obsession. Expect heavy themes and high heat. A consuming read for fans of alien romance with a darkly possessive edge.
