What we collect

If you create an account, we store your username, email address, and any book shelves or reactions you save (likes, “want to read”, “read”). This data lives on our own server and is never sold.

Native app authentication

The Readark mobile app signs you in using a WordPress Application Password that you generate yourself. It is stored encrypted on your device (via the operating system’s secure storage) and is used only to talk to our API at readark.app. We never see or store your main account password.

Amazon affiliate disclosure

As an Amazon Associate, Readark earns from qualifying purchases. “Buy on Amazon” links carry our affiliate tag. We do not share your personal data with Amazon through these links — clicking simply takes you to amazon.com.

Cookies & analytics

We use first-party, on-site analytics only (no third-party trackers or ad networks) to understand which books and pages are popular. No data is sold or shared with advertisers.

Data deletion

To delete your account and all associated data (shelves, reactions, saved lists), email us at info@revoba.net and we will process the request within 30 days.

Mature content

Readark catalogs dark romance fiction, which includes mature themes (violence, non-consent, and other content warnings tagged per book). The site and app are intended for readers 17 and older.
