Mafia bloodlines collide with high-school cruelty in this dark, dangerous empire opener. Expect a wicked knight who rules with menace, criminal stakes bleeding into the hallways, and obsession that feels like a loaded weapon. The atmosphere is brutal and high-tension, where torment and possessiveness run hand in hand. A heavy pick for readers who want their bully romance armed, ruthless, and steeped in mafia darkness.
