Why listen to dark romance
Audio is how many romance readers fit more books into a week: on a commute, at the gym, while doing chores. Romance is also one of the genres where narration matters most, because so much of it is dialogue between two people.
Narration styles you will see
- Single narrator: one voice reads the whole book, including the other character’s lines.
- Dual narration: two narrators alternate by chapter, usually one per point-of-view character. This is the most common format for dual-POV romance.
- Duet narration: both narrators voice their own character’s dialogue within the same scene, which feels closer to a performance.
